Victoria Fu and Gloria Lu met while working as skincare formulation chemists at L'Oréal, one of the world's largest beauty conglomerates. Sharing the same frustrations about an industry dominated by marketing hype over science, they left their corporate roles in 2017 to create something different: a brand where the chemist's voice takes center stage.
What started as an Instagram account to share insider formulation knowledge quickly grew into a full skincare line, educational blog, podcast, and bestselling book "Skincare Decoded."
