Boobie Superfoods was born from a simple observation: when a baby arrives, shelves fill with products for the newborn while mothers are left without solutions for their own health. In 2011, Wendy Colson—a Registered Nurse, NICU specialist, and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)—created the world's first lactation bar in her home kitchen for her own breastfeeding clients who needed a healthy, on-the-go snack to support milk production.
What started as homemade bars for local moms quickly became a movement. Boobie Superfoods launched commercially in 2014 and has since pioneered an entire category of functional nutrition for mothers.
